12 best social media scheduling tools in 2026
Postora is run by the team behind Schedchie, one of the tools compared here.
Ranked by what 10 accounts cost one person for a year, Schedchie is first: €7.99 a month for unlimited accounts and posts. Metricool is second: €16 a month billed annually for 5 brands (metricool.com/pricing, checked 2026-09-27).

Every tool on this list schedules posts to the major networks. What separates them is what they charge as the account count grows, what they cap, and what they add around the calendar: analytics, an inbox, AI writing tools, approvals. This list ranks twelve of them on cost and says who should pick which.
How we ranked them
One person schedules 10 social accounts: two brands on five networks each (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube). For each tool we took the cheapest listed way to hold all 10, counting per-channel or per-set add-ons where that is how the vendor sells accounts, at the cheapest billing basis the vendor prints. Tools whose price we could not verify on their own pricing page rank last. The ranking measures cost, not quality; each section says what the money buys.
| Rank | Tool | Plan for 10 accounts | Cost of a year | Post limit on that plan |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Schedchie | Pro | €7.99 × 12 = €95.88, billed monthly | unlimited |
| 2 | Metricool | Starter, 5 brands | €16 × 12 = €192, billed annually | unlimited, under a fair-use policy |
| 3 | PostEverywhere | Growth, 10 accounts | $29 × 12 = $348, billed monthly | unlimited |
| 4 | Pallyy | Pro plus 1 extra social set | ($25 + $10) × 12 = $420, billed monthly | unlimited |
| 5 | Later | Growth, 2 social sets | $37.50 × 12 = $450, billed yearly | 180 posts per profile per month |
| 6 | SocialBee | Accelerate, 10 profiles | $490 a year, billed annually | not stated |
| 7 | Loomly | Starter, 12 accounts | $49 × 12 = $588, billed yearly | unlimited |
| 8 | Buffer | Essentials, 10 channels | 10 × $60 = $600, billed yearly | fair-use cap of 5,000 per channel |
| 9 | Agorapulse | Standard, 10 profiles | $79 × 12 = $948, billed annually | unlimited |
| 10 | Hootsuite | Standard, 10 accounts | $99 × 12 = $1,188, billed annually | unlimited, with a footnote |
| 11 | Sprout Social | Professional (lower plans stop at 5 profiles) | $299 × 12 = $3,588, annual billing | not stated |

At one to three accounts the order changes: Buffer, Pallyy and Metricool have free plans, and PostEverywhere's smallest plan covers 2 accounts.
1. Schedchie
Schedchie prices scheduling at one flat rate. Pro is €7.99 a month for unlimited connected accounts, unlimited scheduled posts and unlimited client groups, billed monthly (there is no annual plan). Ten accounts cost €95.88 a year; so do a hundred.
It publishes to Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, Google Business Profile and X. X is a separate add-on: €4.99 for 30 posts, valid 30 days, on any plan.
What you get: one composer with per-platform text overrides, a client group per client or brand with its own calendar, calendar and list views, recurring posts, CSV bulk import with media and titles, and full editing of scheduled posts. Instagram Reels, carousels and Stories are supported, and TikTok photo posts of up to 10 images. A failed post sends an email with one-click retry. The Team plan, €24.99 a month, adds 3 invited members, per-member approvals and client review links. An assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude can connect to the account through its MCP server.
What you do not get: AI writing tools, best-time suggestions, first comment, mobile apps, a public API, social listening, or X analytics. Analytics are basic. There is no free plan; there is a 14-day trial.
Best for: anyone scheduling many accounts who wants the bill to stay the same as the account list grows.
2. Metricool
Metricool combines a planner with analytics, competitor tracking, an inbox, link-in-bio pages and ads reporting, and bills per brand. Starter is €16 a month billed annually for up to 5 brands, €29 for up to 10; billed monthly the same tiers are €20 and €37. Advanced starts at €43 a month billed annually for 15 brands (metricool.com/pricing, checked 2026-09-27).

The free plan covers one brand, 20 posts a month and 30 days of analytics, and excludes LinkedIn and X. Starter lists unlimited publishing, analytics with unlimited history and analysis of up to 100 competitors. Approvals and team roles start at Advanced.
Best for: small teams that report on results and run up to 10 brands.
3. PostEverywhere
PostEverywhere prices by account count with unlimited posts on every plan: Lite $9 a month for 2 accounts, Starter $19 for 5, Growth $29 for 10 and Scale $39 for 20, billed monthly, with 20% off for yearly billing (posteverywhere.ai/pricing, checked 2026-09-27).
Its page lists Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, X, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky, Telegram, Discord, Pinterest and WordPress. Every plan includes an AI studio for captions, images and video (on a monthly credit allowance), best-time-to-post suggestions, a REST API and a hosted MCP server for AI agents. Agency is $99 a month for 10 sets and 3 users. The free plan has one set and 15 scheduled posts a month (pallyy.com/pricing, checked 2026-09-27).
The page lists Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Threads and Bluesky. It includes an Instagram grid preview, Instagram first comment, a social inbox, link-in-bio pages and AI captions. The free plan is limited to image posts.
Best for: Instagram-heavy freelancers and agencies that think in clients, not accounts.
5. Later
Later is built around a visual planner and Instagram grid preview. Starter is $18.75 a month billed yearly for one set and 30 posts per profile per month. Growth is $37.50 for two sets, 2 users and 180 posts per profile. Scale is $82.50 for six sets and unlimited posts (later.com/pricing, checked 2026-09-27).
Every plan has a link-in-bio page and AI content tools that run on monthly credits. Growth adds a social inbox and approvals. There is a mobile app and a 14-day free trial.
Best for: visual brands where Instagram and TikTok come first.
6. SocialBee
SocialBee sorts posts into content categories (promotions, tips, news) and schedules each category on its own rhythm, which suits evergreen content that gets reposted. Bootstrap is $29 a month for 5 profiles, Accelerate $49 for 10 and Pro $99 for 25, billed monthly; billed annually they are $290, $490 and $990 a year (socialbee.com/pricing, checked 2026-09-27).
Bootstrap includes 10 content categories and unlimited AI content generation. Accelerate adds 50 categories, post approval, CSV uploads and advanced analytics. Pro adds 3 users and 5 workspaces. There is a 14-day free trial.
Best for: bloggers and marketers who recycle a library of evergreen posts.
7. Loomly
Loomly is built for teams that plan and approve content together. Starter is $49 a month billed yearly ($588 a year) or $65 billed monthly, for 12 social accounts and 3 users (loomly.com/pricing, checked 2026-09-27).
The pricing page lists approval workflows and custom roles, an AI assistant and AI captions, post inspiration and an ideas board, replies to interactions, and exportable reports. Networks named include Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Google Business Profile and Threads.
Best for: a small team of up to three that needs a formal approval step.
8. Buffer
Buffer charges per channel. Essentials is $5 per channel per month, billed yearly ($60 a year per channel); Team is $10 per channel per month, billed yearly, and adds unlimited team members and approval workflows. The free plan covers 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel (buffer.com/pricing, checked 2026-09-27).

Its site lists Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Threads, Pinterest, Google Business Profile, Bluesky, Mastodon and Substack. Every plan includes the AI Assistant, the visual calendar and Start Page, a link-in-bio page. Paid plans add a community inbox, analytics, reports and API access. There is a 14-day free trial on paid plans.
Best for: one to three accounts. Past that, every channel adds to the bill.
9. Agorapulse
Agorapulse centres on its inbox: comments, messages and reviews from every network in one queue. Standard is $79 per user per month billed annually ($99 paid monthly) for 10 profiles; Professional is $119 and Advanced $149 per user per month billed annually. Extra profiles are $10 a month each on annual billing (agorapulse.com/pricing, checked 2026-09-27).
The pricing page lists first comment scheduling, publishing queues with time slots, CSV bulk scheduling of up to 200 posts, approval workflows and a mobile app. There is a 30-day free trial.
Best for: teams whose daily work is replying, not only posting.
10. Hootsuite
Hootsuite is a full suite priced per user. Standard is $99 per user per month, billed annually, for up to 10 social accounts; Professional, with unlimited accounts, is $199; Advanced is $399 (hootsuite.com/plans, checked 2026-09-27).
Standard lists unlimited posts (with a footnote), AI post and image generation, one inbox, and brand and competitor monitoring. Professional adds custom reports and inbox automation. There is a 14-day free trial, during which posting is limited per day and bulk scheduling is off.
Best for: larger teams that want monitoring, inbox and publishing from one vendor.
11. Sprout Social
Sprout Social is an enterprise suite with a shared inbox and deep reporting. Essentials is $79 per seat per month with annual billing and Standard $199; both hold 5 profiles. Professional, at $299 per seat, removes the profile cap; Advanced is $399 (sproutsocial.com/pricing, checked 2026-09-27).
Standard lists a consolidated inbox, keyword and location monitoring and review management. Premium Analytics and Listening are sold as add-ons. There is a 30-day free trial.
Best for: companies where social media is a customer-care and reporting function with its own budget.
12. Sendible
Sendible is built for agencies. Each client, location or brand gets its own workspace with its own profiles, content calendar and reports, and every plan includes unlimited users. Its pricing page lists a Priority Inbox, a custom report builder with scheduled reports, a Client Connect widget that lets clients connect their profiles without sharing logins, and white labelling as a paid add-on. There is a 14-day free trial.
Its prices load in the browser and we could not read them from the page on 2026-09-27, so it ranks last by rule, not by quality. See sendible.com/pricing for current figures.
Best for: agencies that want each client in a separate workspace and branded reporting.
Which tool fits which kind of user
The ranking above is about cost. The right tool depends on how many accounts you run and what you do besides posting.
Solo creators and freelancers
- One to three accounts: start on a free plan. Buffer's covers 3 channels, Pallyy's one set of image posts, Metricool's one brand without LinkedIn or X.
- Instagram-first: Later or Pallyy, for the grid preview.
- Several clients' accounts: Schedchie, because €7.99 a month does not change when a client is added. If you want AI to draft captions, PostEverywhere or SocialBee include that; Schedchie does not.
Small businesses
- One brand on a few networks: Buffer Essentials, paying only for the channels you use.
- You report results to someone: Metricool Starter.
- A local business on Google Business Profile: Schedchie, Buffer, Metricool, Pallyy, Loomly and Agorapulse all publish to it.
Agencies
- Many client accounts at low cost: Schedchie Pro. For client sign-off, the Team plan at €24.99 a month adds per-member approvals and client review links; a client can approve or request changes without an account.
- Per-client pricing with a small team: Pallyy's Agency plan or Later's Growth and Scale plans.
- Branded reports and client workspaces: Sendible or Metricool, which offer white labelling on higher plans or as an add-on.
Teams that live in the inbox
Agorapulse, Hootsuite and Sprout Social. All three put comments and messages in one place and add monitoring or listening. Schedchie is built for publishing and is the wrong pick for this job.
Scheduling tools and AI search
No scheduler can guarantee that ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google's AI answers cite your brand. What a scheduler can do is keep the public profiles those systems may read current and consistent. Three steps that cost nothing extra:
- Keep the same business name, description and website link on every profile. A scheduler with many accounts makes it easy to post everywhere; the profile details still need a manual check.
- Keep your Google Business Profile active if you serve customers locally. Post to it on the same schedule as your other networks.
- Put the answer to your customers' main question on your own website, in plain text. A social post scrolls out of the feed; a page stays where a search engine can find it.
A separate point: some schedulers can now be operated by an AI assistant. Schedchie, Buffer, Hootsuite, Metricool, PostEverywhere and Pallyy all list an MCP server or MCP connectors, which let an assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT work with your account (vendor sites, checked 2026-09-27). If you already draft with an assistant, check for this before you choose.
